The assistive technology technician belongs to the preventive service group and has a central role in the Elderly and Care Administration and the Health and Medical Care Department. Together with colleagues, the technician ensures that our residents receive the right support to be as independent as possible and manage their daily lives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistive technology technician with us, you will have a meaningful job where you make a difference every day.

Your responsibilities include:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of the assistive devices owned by the municipality, known as basic equipment. Examples include hospital beds, wheelchairs, patient and ceiling lifts, and hygiene aids.
• Inventory and inspection of assistive devices for proactive purposes.
• Collaboration with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, care staff, and unit managers in our operations.
• Handling service requests that come through our digital service.
• Documentation in the assistive device system and statistical basis.

The position is a permanent employment and means that you will take over an established role with good routines and support in the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is:

• Technically skilled with a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving.
• Service-oriented and has the ability to put the user at the center.
• Detail-oriented and responsible in your work.
• Proficient in computer skills (Office package, M365).
• Has a driver's license (B) is a requirement.
• Education in a relevant field is an advantage, but we also value adequate experience.
